Reward #4: Trending Runway
We want you model on the runway an outfit that is working for the NOW. That means trends for the Spring 2013 season.
Here's a report for these trends: (look at it for reference to what you believe can work)
www.style.com/trendsshopping/trendreport/110512_Trend_Report/
These are all runways and could be used very nicely as examples for you to look through to find something you may be able to portray.
This is one runway where I will state which trend you decided to do.
Art of Contrast - this is about black and white outfits, it has more pattern like qualities to it not just a black tee and white pants. Cannot be full black and white photo, only the clothes.
Veiled Looks - Sheer clothing, in case you didn't know what that meant.
Collage Degree - this is about overlaying different prints and patterns or even textiles together to form a piece, try to do more than 2 different things but definitely works if the entire outfit has a different print.
Every Flounce Counts - Ruffles, simple as that.
Alpha Females/Menswear - this is allowed to be a power suit, a tuxedo, you can also interpret this as menswear because definitely a trend that has been around for awhile and still going strong. - This cannot be done by male models.
Asia Society - this is about doing Far East Asian influences, such as origami structure or kimono silhouettes, you can even do a great far east asian print.
Neon - a trend that started during last spring and into the summer, has made another turn and is again another trend for this spring. (although this is not listed as a reference report you may do it).
Male Models only may do any of the above but they may also do:

See this slideshow to get a feel of the trends below.
Camouflage - this is the military type print that is very popular.
Stripes - easy as said.
Baseball Jacket - have an article of clothing that is an actual baseball jacket.
Pop of Suit - we want a more daring colored suit.
Deadline: Friday, April 19th at 1PM EST
