Photoshoot #6: Go-See
The winner of this competition will be signed with one of the major modeling agencies in New York
This agency houses many of the best models in the industry such as Gisele, Lara Stone, Karlie Kloss, Joan Smalls, Tyson Ballou, Mathias Lauridsen and Carolyn Murphy, the host of Project Runway All Stars.
The model that IMG signs will have to be able to be booked for runway and print work. Of course to even go on these Go-Sees you'll need to have a Showcard. During this competition we'll continue to build your portfolio, so this challenge we'll focus on your Showcard photographs.
Here are some examples:
There will be no special effects added to the shots like the ones above. It will just be placing two photographs side by side on a card with your stats.
One photograph must be a body shot (knees or below), and the other must be an upper body shot (belly button or up).
You decide how you want to be portrayed, do you want to be the chameleon who can do both an edgy and commercial shot or a high fashion model or a commercial model. Just make sure whatever direction you wish to take your Showcard for your Go-Sees that your two shots look good together side by side that when we see both together we see your full potential as a model and will be booked for your jobs.
This round you can receive up to 11 points at max per judge since you can be given a score of 10 but if the judges decide that they would book you, you'll receive an extra point. They must book 1 model so stand out and catch our eyes!
Since this requires the searching of two photographs this challenge will be due May 1st, Wednesday at 11:59PM EST.
